[ALLDERDICE HIGH SCHOOL] The Allderdice Girls basketball team played in their home opener against Ambridge on December 4th. The girls dominated, winning 54-18 and bouncing back after losing the first two games of the season. Four girls had more than 10 points with 3 of them being freshmen. Peyton Lynch had 12, Seena Teshome also had 12, Bailey White had 11, and Ceci Passero had 10. The team’s defense also played very well allowing a season minimum of 18 points. Ambridge is now 0-3 after losses to Serra Catholic and South Park.

The Dragons look to build on this win and finish the week strong against Gateway on Tuesday and Our Lady of the Sacred Heart on Thursday. After this week, they have four more non-conference games leading up to in-conference play. City League games start in early January. They are also looking forward to the Mohawk Christmas Tournament which starts Thursday, December 28.
